Spring Cleaning - Interior Styling Tips

Spring is a perfect time for some interior design revamping.  This doesn't have to be expensive and may not even been that obvious when friends come to visit.  Cushions - colours and textures - are a great place to start.  I never buy these full price - not unless they're made of a unique fabric, or a particular colour, that you just must have.
Changing up your artwork is also a great way of creating a fresh  new vibe - and doesn't have to be expensive.  You could rotate the artworks you have as hanging them in a different room will change the room.  You may have more artworks than your house can accommodate so maybe it's time to get some of those paintings out of storage and on the walls.
I've had a cluster of paintings - different shapes and sizes - on the living room wall for a while now.  It's been enjoyed, and commented on, by many but I'm wanting to really pare back on many accessories in my house and just pack a few things away for a while.  I think I'm going through a stage of 'less is more' - not sure how long this will last but sometimes I just get a bit tired of too many things.  I think my Cluster is going to disappear - which will also mean some patching and painting of the wall as I did put a few holes in it when hanging the paintings:)
I have some pieces of artwork that I love and they will always be hanging on a wall somewhere in our home but I also have many other pieces - of varying sizes - that I'm not as attached to and could be replaced with something, possibly inexpensive, and different.
So my spring cleaning and, fairly minor, redecorating is about to begin.  That is - once I have finished getting ready for my Exhibition!!  Possibly another couple of paintings to complete before I turn my attention to my house.
